Yoga Instructors are Not Doctors

Yoga is a physical exercise. It is true that yoga has many health benefits and can reduce symptoms of many physical and mental ailments. It is also true that instructors can modify poses or forms to help compensate for many health issues. It is important to talk to a doctor or your mental health care professional about your health before participating in yoga activities. Yoga Instructors cannot diagnose ailments or create treatment plans. Each student is ultimately responsible for deciding what is best for their own health.
